Suzuki Philippines had an electrifying time at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show with the launch of its first EV, the e Vitara.
The EV is propelled by an electric motor with 172hp and 193Nm of torque. It can go as far as 475km thanks to the 61kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery. The Heartect-e platform is built on three pillars: structural rigidity, high-voltage battery protection, and maximized passenger space.

The e Vitara measures 4,275mm by 1,800mm by 1,635mm, with a wheelbase of 2,700mm. The “Metal Beast” design language makes the vehicle look compact yet tough, with its aggressive lines and imposing stance. If this model looks similar to the Urban Cruiser, that’s because the Toyota is a rebadged Suzuki.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a rugged yet futuristic-looking, cabin. The highlight is a seamlessly integrated dual display, combining the digital instrument cluster and the 10.1-inch infotainment system.
You can play music courtesy of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, with the audio provided by a six-speaker sound system by Infinity. The e Vitara also gets ADAS in the form of Suzuki Safety Support with collision prevention, lane-keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring.

“Today, we take a monumental leap forward into a bold new chapter,” said Suzuki Philippines director and automobile general manager Norihide Takei. “The all-new e Vitara reflects Suzuki’s commitment to delivering advanced mobility solutions that inspire confidence, excitement, and practicality for today’s generation of drivers. As we move toward the future of electrification, we invite everyone to join us as this new era begins.”
The Suzuki e Vitara will be launched soon with an SRP of P2,020,000. For more updates, you can follow Suzuki Philippines on Facebook.
