As you know, the No-Contact Apprehension Program is now partially back. It’s “partial” because only MMDA-handled roads will be covered when it officially returns on May 26 (Monday). Those under the jurisdiction of local government units will not be affected.
The question is: Which roads exactly will be managed by NCAP cameras?
We asked the MMDA via its Viber account, but no final answer was provided. In his interviews with mainstream news TV, MMDA head Romando Artes indicated that the list would include the usual MMDA-managed thoroughfares, so it’s expected that the following will welcome NCAP back come next week:
- EDSA
- C5
- Quezon Avenue
- Commonwealth
- Ortigas
- Roxas Boulevard
- Macapagal Boulevard
- Mabuhay Lanes
Are you ready for part two of automated traffic management?
