In preparation for the “Bagong Pilipinas Kick-Off Rally,” the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority will be implementing road closures and traffic rerouting at the Quirino Grandstand and Rizal Park in Manila City.

If you'll be passing by Manila, plan your route accordingly. SCREENSHOTS FROM MMDA

Motorists are advised to avoid Rizal Park and its immediate vicinity as the following road closures will take effect tomorrow from 10am to 10pm:

  • Roxas Boulevard from UN Avenue to P. Burgos Avenue
  • TM Kalaw, both sides from Roxas Boulevard to Taft Avenue
  • P. Burgos Avenue, both sides and Finance Road
  • Ma. Orosa Street
  • Bonifacio Drive from Anda Circle to P. Burgos Avenue

Tomorrow’s going to be a busy day, so unspecified boulevards, avenues, and roads in Manila, Pasay, and Parañaque will serve as designated parking areas for cars and buses. If you don’t want to get caught up in the festivities, it’s best to avoid the area as much as possible.
