You can do stuff like this with Land Rover this weekend

You may have heard that affiliate British brands Jaguar and Land Rover now have a new Philippine distributor in Coventry Motors Corporation. As is usually the case with newly established importers, the company wishes to connect with both existing and prospective customers of the brands in a grand and special way.

And so, Coventry is doing just that this weekend, starting today (May 25) until Sunday (May 27). The distributor is holding an experiential event for both Jaguar (“The Art of Performance Tour”) and Land Rover (“The Above and Beyond Tour”) at Mega Tent on C5 Libis in Quezon City.

Here’s the catch: This marketing event is not like any of those you’ve likely visited in the past in that you need to preregister online before going to the venue if you expect to be accommodated. Why? Because the whole session takes more than an hour, so only the serious Jaguar and Land Rover fans or shoppers should even think of going.

Coventry distinguishes the two activities like this:

The Art of Performance Tour will give participants the chance to experience new sensations and emotions in the award-winning Jaguar range as they go through various driving challenges and obstacles. Participants will charge their way through simulations of different road conditions to experience how the vehicle performs in risky situations. Meanwhile, the Above and Beyond Tour will allow participants to experience up close the range of capabilities that Land Rover vehicles offer as they drive the vehicles themselves through several courses—from steep inclines and descents to sideway tilts and water pools.

If you’re interested and would like to take part in this absolutely free event, you may register online here for Jaguar and then here for Land Rover. The sessions start as early as 8:30am and end at 5pm. We’re guessing this is going to be on a first-come-first-served basis, so register now.
