Nissan Navara 4x4 VL variants get better display audio unit

Now with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality

What’s better than the best-selling Nissan Navara pickup truck? Well, how about a Navara with a kick-ass in-car entertainment head unit? Specifically, one with the so-called Nissan Advanced Display Audio, which is basically an eight-inch capacitive touchscreen that features an “enhanced user interface for easier operation.”

And because this new audio head unit has a larger screen, it allows users to maximize the benefits of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, the Japanese automaker’s innovative suite of driver-assistance safety technologies. That means, for instance, a more expansive display for the Around View Monitor that gives the driver a good 360° picture of the vehicle’s surroundings.

What’s more, this new display audio unit offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, providing convenient access to primary smartphone apps without requiring the driver to handle his or her mobile device.

For now, the new Nissan Advanced Display Audio is being offered on the Navara 4×4 VL variants, which currently sell for P1,419,000 for the 6MT and P1,479,000 for the 7AT. Take advantage of this feature now if you’re considering getting a pickup anyway. Great value for money, we think.
