“There are some days that you know you’ll remember forever, and today, my first as a Ferrari driver, is one of the days.”

These are the words of Sir Lewis Hamilton as he begins a new era with Formula 1‘s most iconic team. Clad in a black suit befitting his title, the British seven-time world champion posed in front of a Ferrari F40 for a photo op to commemorate his first day in Maranello.

His schedule was packed as he visited the iconic places and met all the important people he would be working with—including Piero Ferrari, son of Enzo Ferrari. After his immersion program, Hamilton will attend more technical meetings and briefings in preparation for this year’s F1 season.

Preseason testing will be held from February 26 to 28 in Bahrain before the first race is held at the 2025 Australian Grand Prix on March 16.
