Another rookie will make his debut next year

One driver’s departure is another one’s arrival in Formula 1. This is especially true for Red Bull, which has two outfits. With the departure of Sergio Perez from Oracle Red Bull Racing, Liam Lawson was promoted to the main team. And this opened the door for Isack Hadjar, who will occupy the second seat at Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team (or VCARB).

Hadjar was a Red Bull junior driver who finished second to Gabriel Bortoleto in this year’s F2 championship. Come next season, Isack will be one of the many rookies making their debut in the top flight of motorsport. His teammate will be Yuki Tsunoda, who has been with the team for four years.

“Firstly, we must congratulate Liam for his step up to Red Bull Racing,” said VCARB CEO Peter Bayer. “As a sister team and as an incubator for Formula 1 talent, our strategic objective is to foster and nurture our drivers in preparation for this next step. With his move and by bringing Isack into VCARB, it’s a testament to our long-standing commitment to developing the best young drivers in motorsport, as well as proof of concept of the Red Bull junior program.”

With all the exciting driver changes in F1, the next season can’t come soon enough.
