The goal of every junior driver is to climb the motorsport ladder and reach the top step (which is, of course, Formula 1).

The Haas F1 Team has confirmed that Ollie Bearman will drive for the American team starting next season.

Bearman is a Ferrari junior currently competing in F2. He made his F1 debut in the 2024 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix as the substitute for Carlos Sainz.

The rookie qualified for P11, before finishing in P7. With six points to his name, he currently sits 14th in the drivers’ standings. This puts him ahead of drivers who could potentially be his teammate.

“It’s hard to put into words just how much this means to me,” said Bearman. “To say out loud that I will be a Formula 1 driver for Haas F1 Team makes me so immensely proud.”

With Bearman on a multiyear deal, we’ll have to wait and see who will partner with him at Haas. Do you think the team will retain Kevin Magnussen, or will it look elsewhere?
