Lexus, the country’s luxury automotive market leader, has unveiled a collaborative menu together with Japanese coffee chain Key Coffee Kissaten at Mitsukoshi BGC’s Lexus display.
This is in line with delivering a better overall ownership experience to all clients who would like to immerse themselves in the Lexus lifestyle beyond just its cars.

The menu, presented by Key Coffee Kissaten executive chef Mianne Manguiat, was crafted over time with invaluable feedback from Lexus clients.
The management at Lexus Philippines, together with Chef Mianne, decided on a comforting, filling, and heartwarming menu instead of a fancy, exotic selection that might cater to a smaller audience. This was reaffirmed by both Lexus Manila president Raymond Rodriguez and general manager Carlo Ablaza.

Each item on the menu represents a characteristic that is central to Lexus’s identity.
One is creamy seafood chowder, which uses the freshest of seafood that is surprisingly very filling, a testament to Lexus’s quiet confidence to satisfy with something simple.

It’s followed by the wafu salad made with fresh greens, crabstick, and shredded nori, a nod to the freshness in design and ideas from the brand.

The next entrée is a delectable garlic bacon pizza with three types of cheese that taste exquisite yet don’t overpower your palette. This is perfect for sharing, in the warm spirit of Japan’s omotenashi culture (always wholeheartedly caring for your guests and others).

The Japanese love their Italian food so aside from pizza, you also get a perfectly crafted Wagyu ragu pasta cooked with a hint of creamy and ever-so-slightly sweet taste that is not overpowering, echoing the Lexus takumi (artisan) mindset of constantly striving to perfect your task.

Feeling meaty? The menu gives you a choice of a hearty katsu sando sandwich with a really thick and chunky cut of kurobuta pork that you expect to be tough but is surprisingly soft and succulent.

Your second option is a juicy Wagyu beef burger, perhaps the very best of “Japanese east meets American west” culture, which is in many ways the original idea for Lexus. Soft and tasty shokupan bread wraps around the bun.

For dessert, a miso chocolate chip cookie leaves a distinctly sweet yet umami taste. You wash it all down with the sakura fizz signature drink, which pays homage to Lexus’s Japanese roots.

This exclusive menu will be made available at the Lexus Mitsukoshi store, adjacent to the Key Coffee Kissaten café from July 6 onward.
Lexus clients can call Lexus Manila to help them reserve a table. Of course, this menu will be offered to the general public as well.
Looking for a new hangout place to eat good food while admiring the best cars from Japan in a convenient location for the entire family? Look no further.
