Here’s how to go to the Toyota Gazoo Racing venue on May 24-25

The street race will happen in Villar City, south of Metro Manila

In a decade of supporting local motorsports, Toyota Motor Philippines has made it as easy as possible to watch the races on the part of the spectators. Exciting circuit racing, car club gatherings, cool freebies, rocking concerts—all without charging a single peso from enthusiasts.

But if we’re being honest, it’s not always a cinch to go to the usual venue of the Toyota Gazoo Racing (previously Toyota Vios Cup) events, which is Clark International Speedway. First of all, it’s not always pleasant driving on NLEX during weekends. If you’re unfortunate, you could find yourself trapped in a kilometric gridlock that makes you wish you had just slept at home.

Then, of course, there’s the constant threat of figuring in a road incident—like this or this or this. Vehicular (and often deadly) crashes just in a span of one week. Why would you venture out of town on a sunny Saturday morning and risk dealing with irresponsible motorists just to witness a car race?

No problem. Toyota understands your situation. Which is why the second leg of the 2025 TGR Philippine Cup happening this weekend—May 24-25—will be held at the south of Metro Manila in Villar City.

“We have heard how much the racers and the fans wanted to bring back the street race after the successful ones we’ve had in Metro Manila and Metro Cebu,” says TMP assistant vice president for marketing services Andy Ty. “With the races closer to the metro, we hope more people will come to experience the thrill and joy of motorsports for themselves, and perhaps even discover a passion for speed and all things racing.”

Now, there’s the small matter of finding your way to the makeshift street track (especially if you haven’t been to Villar City). If you are bringing a car, just follow these simple instructions as prepared by Toyota:

If you don’t want to bring a vehicle to the venue, Toyota will provide shuttle services with the following pick-up and drop-off points:

Very easy, right? All you need to pack is a fun and party mood. Did we tell you that these guys will be providing the music? Rico Blanco and Parokya ni Edgar on May 24, and Ely Buendia and Bamboo on May 25.

Let’s go, guys. No other place to be this weekend. See you on Saturday and Sunday.
