Two new premium battery-electric vehicles to choose from

After the official announcement in March that the Autohub Group would distribute Zeekr in our country, the Chinese automaker has now pulled the covers off its two initial battery-electric models that it will be offering: the 001 shooting brake and the X compact crossover.

The 001 is undeniably one of the better-looking Chinese cars to come out lately. PHOTOS FROM ZEEKR

The Zeekr 001 will be offered in two variants:

  • Long Range – P3,625,000
  • Privilege – P4,200,000

Information on our local spec is still pretty light, but this sleek shooting brake features matrix LED headlights, a full-width taillight bar, and massive 22-inch wheels.

The interior is very minimalistic and tech-laden. PHOTOS FROM ZEEKR

The luxurious and digital-first cockpit has a huge 15.4-inch touchscreen front and center. Occupants have lots of amenities, such as ventilated massaging front seats, frameless soft-close doors, a Yamaha Surround Stereo premium audio system, and air suspension to smoothen out the ride.

Zeekr Philippines says that the 001 will have a range of up to 620km from a 100kWh battery, and performance figures of up to 544hp and 686Nm that should allow for a 0-100km/h dash in just 3.8 seconds. Both variants will have access to 22kWh AC charging, alongside 150kWh DC fast charging.

For those who want a crossover, the X delivers just as much style as its sibling does. PHOTOS FROM ZEEKR

For those who like their ground clearance, the Zeekr X is an equally premium compact crossover option that is likewise available in a pair of variants:

  • Premium – P2,600,000
  • Privilege – P3,000,000

It should have a similar feature set and design language to the 001, with 20-inch wheels, a minimalist interior, a Yamaha Surround Stereo system, and massaging and ventilated seats.

From a 66kWh battery, it should have up to 445km of range on a single charge. Power figures are pegged at 422hp and 686Nm, with the 100km/h sprint done also in 3.8 seconds.

The X Premium comes with 11kWh AC charging, while the X Privilege bumps that up to 22kWh. Both are capable of 200kWh rapid DC charging.

The first dealership will soon open, and it will be located at 32nd St. corner Rizal Drive in Bonifacio Global City. Are you interested in this new brand of premium electric vehicles from China?
