If you were to look for a compact, family-oriented crossover offering in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, you would be directed to the GLB. In our market, it used to be only available in one variant—the AMG Line. But now, Mercedes-Benz Philippines is offering the GLB200 Progressive Line for those who want a little more luxury out of the nameplate.

Compared to its AMG Line sibling, the Progressive line errs to the luxury side with more chrome accents, front and rear underguards, and a grille with two single louvres. It also rides on 19-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels.

You get your slice of traditional Mercedes-Benz luxury inside with Artico faux-leather seats, a seven-inch digital instrument display, and a 10.25-inch infotainment running MBUX that also supports modern phone connectivity.

Aside from being able to carry up to seven people, there is 570L of cargo space behind the second row. Plus, it’s easier to load cargo thanks to a power-operated tailgate.

Safety is paramount, so aside from seven airbags and Isofix child seat anchors, it comes with an extensive suite of features like active brake assist, active parking assist, attention assist for drowsiness, and cruise control.

If you’d like to see it in the metal, you can visit the Mercedes-Benz showrooms in Greenhills, Bonifacio Global City, Alabang, and Cebu. The GLB200 Progressive is priced at P3,990,000, and you won’t need to wait long for one, as stocks will start arriving this week. For more information, you can visit this website.
