Do you remember seeing GAC‘s funky Emkoo crossover at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show in April?

Well, if you were on the fence about putting an order down for one, you’ll be glad to know that the distributor has lowered the prices of the vehicle to make it more affordable and enticing.

The entry-level GE is now down to P1.298 million (from P1.413 million), while the top-of-the-line GL is now P1.498 million (from P1.553 million). If you were one of those who preordered during the auto show, these prices will also apply to you as well.

The Emkoo comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with 177hp and 270Nm, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It comes in five colors: Star Lake Green, Snow White, Moonlight Gray, Superstar Silver, and Elegant Black.

Also, GAC dealerships across the country will be holding special Emkoo launches and test drives on the following dates to mark the start of sales for the model:

• May 27 – Pasig
• June 3 – Bacoor, Makati, and Tarlac
• June 10 – Cainta, E. Rodriguez, Pampanga, and Quezon Avenue
• June 16 – Davao
• June 17 – Alabang, Manila Bay, and Iloilo
• June 30 – Batangas City, Butuan, Cebu, and Lipa City
