In April, Subaru Philippines (aka Motor Image Pilipinas) revealed that it was going to introduce the WRX sedan and wagon in our market by June. Then last week, we got an invite from the company’s marketing manager to the event—meaning that the launch date was already official (June 8).

Well, today, we got another message from the marketing boss, and it’s about the WRX’s prices. Yep, for both the sedan and the wagon.

Here are the prices for the WRX sedan:

• Sedan tS CVT (indent only) – P2,808,000
• Sedan 2.4 CVT – P2,658,000
• Sedan 2.4 MT – P2,508,000

And here are the prices for the WRX wagon:

• Wagon tS CVT (indent only) – P2,708,000
• Wagon CVT – P2,558,000

In case you’re not familiar with the term “indent,” it only means the item is available via order. So, both the tS variants of the sedan and the wagon are being offered to serious buyers who, we’re sure, will have to pay a substantial amount up front.
