Motor Image Pilipinas, the official distributor of Subaru cars in the country, just opened its fifth dealership right in the heart of Alabang‘s bustling commercial area.

Strategically located on the ground level of CTP Asean Tower in the Filinvest City Central Business District, Subaru Alabang is set to showcase the best of what the Japanese marque has to offer.

As a welcome treat, Tan Chong International Ltd. deputy chairman and managing director Glenn Tan and Subaru Philippines country manager Karl Magsuci gave us a preview of the all-new Outback 2.4 XT Touring.

Being one of the most premium models in the Subaru portfolio, the Outback finally gets a very capable 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder boxer engine mated to a Lineartronic CVT with eight virtual gears, pushing 246hp and 350Nm.

Of course, the new Outback comes with the brand’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system and Eyesight 4.0, Subaru’s latest suite of safety tech.

A spacious and comfortable interior will seat five occupants in fine Nappa leather, and they will enjoy such amenities as fast-charging ports found in both the front and rear rows. Infotainment features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto paired with a Harman Kardon audio system.
