This is what Subaru vehicles are all about

For nature lovers who enjoy the great outdoors

I previously mentioned that given its features, the Subaru Crosstrek is something best experienced off-road. And it appears the car company has listened with the “Subaru Adventure Tour Drive.”

“What makes Subaru cars different?”

That’s the question posed for this event. To answer it, we were brought all the way to Camp Well in Tanay, Rizal.

Before reaching the campsite, we had to crawl through almost 7km of unpaved road. The Crosstrek easily made it thanks to the vehicle’s ground clearance. Upon arriving at the site, we were greeted by a nice view of the Agos River, where we got to play around with the Crosstrek, the Outback, and the Forester.

Subaru takes pride in its Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, and this was a nice opportunity to experience it. Wading through the river isn’t the most comprehensive or technical way to test the car’s capabilities. But I had a good time, and that’s when I realized the answer to the question earlier.

Once in a while, we need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life, and reconnect with nature. Some enjoy camping; others hiking. For me, biking is my way of appreciating the great outdoors. But if I were to drive to far-off places, would my vehicle survive when the pavement ends?

The beauty of Subarus vehicles is that these vehicles are dual-purpose. You won’t need a second vehicle for weekend getaways, when your daily driver is a Subaru equipped with a boxer engine and an AWD system.

These features give you confidence and peace of mind when the going gets tough. Plus, you can play with different accessories needed to suit an active lifestyle.

That’s what makes Subaru cars different.
