See these Lynk & Co cars at this year’s MIAS

The motor show will serve as the venue of the brand’s official public debut

Can Lynk & Co race to the number one position among Chinese car brands in our market? PHOTO FROM UAAGI

Last month, United Asia Automotive Group Inc. introduced a new chief marketing executive. That person is Lyn Buena, formerly of The Covenant Car Company Inc., where she oversaw the marketing for Chevrolet and MG. At UAAGI, she will be in charge of the overall marketing operations for the firm’s multiple brands—Foton, Chery and now Lynk & Co.

As you may have read on this website, this is a Chinese brand (owned by Geely) but also has Swedish heritage courtesy of part owner Volvo Cars. The “Co” in its name is “Connected” and not “Company.”

Three years ago—even when nobody knew this brand—we posted an article featuring its product lineup. At a brand launch earlier this month, UAAGI presented two of these vehicles to the media, signifying what Lynk & Co’s initial offerings to our market would be.

One of these is the 01 PHEV crossover, and the other one is the 06 SUV.

If your interest has been piqued by this brand and its cars, you can check them out at the upcoming Manila International Auto Show 2024 on April 4-7. According to UAAGI, the Lynk & Co booth will be located at World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City (just making it clear because you might have a challenging time locating the brand as there will be another MIAS venue at SMX Convention Center Manila).

See you at the much-awaited car show then.
