Toyota Motor Philippines’ theme for the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (or PIMS 2026) centers on the “Toyota Choice.” And we sure were spoiled for choices with the introduction of three new vehicles.

The all-new Toyota Hilux features a design philosophy that’s described as “tough and agile.” Customers have the choice between a 2.8-liter turbo-diesel engine and a 4×4 BEV (battery electric vehicle). The latter has a “Cyber-Sumo” aesthetic and runs with a 193hp electric motor, which is powered by a 59.2kWh battery with up to 315km of range. The pickup also gets the latest version of the myToyota Connect app.

The Land Cruiser FJ (which stands for “Freedom and Joy”) introduces the Land Cruiser nameplate in a much more compact package. It measures 4,610mm long, 1,855mm wide, and 1955m high (1,890mm for the TX variant), with a 2.7-liter naturally aspirated four-banger under the hood producing 164hp and 245Nm of torque. Power is transmitted via a six-speed, 4×4 drivetrain with a differential lock for off-road use.

Last but not least is the Land Cruiser HEV. It now has a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 3.5-liter twin-turbo gasoline V6 engine and a motor-generator unit that provides an additional 48hp and 250Nm of torque. With this electrified SUV, you won’t have to choose between raw power and fuel efficiency.

  • 4×4 BEV – P2,990,000

Land Cruiser FJ P2,235,000
