Chery Auto Philippines has been making quite a name for itself in the local electric vehicle market, racking up 47.5% year-over-year sales growth according to the distributor. With its continued development focusing on passenger family vehicles—such as the Tiggo rEV—comes the arrival of its newest hatchback.

Chery, being distributed by United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), launched the all-new Chery QEV at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show. During the event, UAAGI offered some promotions and discounts, such as the battery warranty, the bumper-to-bumper warranty, and the roadside assistance—promoting worry-free ownership.

Marketed as a smart EV cruiser, the Q features geometric styling alongside its iconic Q-shaped LED headlights and taillights. It uses a 42.7kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery that can travel up to 405km on a single charge.

Inside, the car has a leather soft-touch dashboard with a 15.6-inch 2.5K Ultra HD infotainment system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has a 50W wireless fast charger and a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability.

The car is compact, and it can pass through smaller streets in Metro Manila without any problem. With that size, people would overlook its huge storage space capacity. There are 38 storage spaces throughout the car. The frunk can store 70L.

Meanwhile, the trunk fits 375L when the seats are up, and around a whopping 1,450L when the rear is folded. What makes the car different from others with a similar look is the underseat storage at the back, which holds an extra 35L.

The features are useful for those who want to transition to an electric vehicle. With that amount of storage, a small family or on-the-go people can fit their stuff in an organized manner. All of these for only P1,120,000. If you missed this vehicle during PIMS 2026, you can still drop by the Chery dealership near you.
