Automotive brands are capitalizing on the rising demand for cars in the Philippines. Some are being more aggressive in their expansions, opening multiple dealerships in a month.
United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) recently opened a collaborative showroom on Quezon Avenue for BAIC and Chery. The dealership is operated by Wheels Inc. Both have designated service areas, ensuring reachable after-sales service. It has a total area of 800sq-m, with an allocated vehicle display portion of 460sq-m.

This venture brings the strength of the two brands into one store.
BAIC offers rugged 4×4 units primarily for off-roading. Their cars have signature boxy features and are fitted with powerful engines, with a focus on hybrid and gasoline vehicles. Meanwhile, Chery focuses on passenger cars—mainly crossover SUVs—and families are its main target market.

“We are proud to officially bring Chery closer to more Filipino drivers through Chery Quezon Avenue,” said Wheels Inc. chairman of the board Escorton “Gordon” Teng. “Together with Chery Auto Philippines, our goal is to provide customers not only with Chery’s innovative vehicle lineup, but also with a dealership experience anchored on trust, convenience, and excellent customer care.”

You can seek adventure with BAIC or enjoy comfort with Chery. But if you want to try both, head to the Chery and BAIC Quezon Avenue showroom at 602 Quezon Avenue corner Tuayan Street, Quezon City. It’s open daily from 9am to 6pm.
