Official images: Suzuki Jimny exterior, interior and colors

At last, Japanese automaker releases product shots

Enough with all the ‘spy’ photos. Here’s the real deal. PHOTO FROM SUZUKI

As we told you the other day, unofficial photos of the fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny had been flooding the Internet the past couple of weeks. Whether it was the Japanese manufacturer itself that “leaked” the photos or not, it’s irrelevant now: Everyone is just itching to see the new mini SUV in all its studio-lighting glory. So here they are—the first official pictures of the all-new Jimny.

The particular Jimny unit we’ve all seen in the “stolen” pics sports a paint job called Kinetic Yellow. Here’s the very squarish rear:

We really like the macho (read: boxy) styling. Want! PHOTO FROM SUZUKI

And here are some of the exterior colors: Jungle Green, Brisk Blue Metallic, Chiffon Ivory Metallic and Superior White. Other shades to be offered are Bluish Black Pearl, Medium Gray and Silky Silver Metallic.

The two-tone colors feature a black roof. Like the Vitara. PHOTOS FROM SUZUKI

Meanwhile, here’s what the cockpit looks like:

Oooh...really fancy for an otherwise utilitarian SUV. PHOTO FROM SUZUKI

As a bonus, Suzuki threw in a picture of the new Jimny’s underpinnings:

This should help the new Jimny climb a lot of mountains. PHOTO FROM SUZUKI

So…your thoughts?
