The shift to electric vehicles isn’t happening only with passenger cars, but also in the logistics industry. Foton Motor Philippines has just turned over 45 commercial vehicles to DHL Summit Solutions Inc. (DSSI).

The fleet consists of 23 units of the Foton Tornado 3.6L EV light-duty truck, which will be used for the transport of essential and basic commodities. The other vehicles include 22 units of the heavy-duty GTL 6×4 Tractor Head for more demanding cargo.

“In logistics, reliability is not a luxury; it is the foundation,” said Foton Motor Philippines and UAAGI Auto Group chairman Rommel Sytin. “Foton Motor Philippines has been in the country for almost 19 years, and DSSI’s confidence is a powerful endorsement of our commitment to providing reliable, durable, and efficient commercial vehicles to the Philippine market.”
