After its initial tease, the Ford Territory has garnered some level of hype and attention. We predicted that the next generation would reveal itself at this year’s Manila International Auto Show, but to our surprise, it is now available to preorder in the Philippine market with a starting price of P1.335 million.
The sole variant available for the Territory is the Titanium trim. Aside from the aforementioned new engine and transmission, more has been said about the interior and the safety features. A seven-inch driver display and a 12-inch infotainment screen envelop the dashboard, with a new climate control system that has a separate control panel.
The new Territory is a bit more rugged than the previous generation with hill launch assist and hill descent control as new additions to the safety features. Meanwhile, active parking assist and blind-spot information system have been carried over to make parking and passing as easy as before.
You can reserve the new Territory here, but if the specs on paper aren’t enough, you’ll have to wait until units arrive at your nearest Ford showroom or at MIAS later this month.
