Hella is now offering exclusive discounts for Grab drivers

To help them cope with the many challenges of the pandemic

As Filipinos continue to find ways to cope with the “new normal” brought about by the pandemic, transportation service providers like Grab have instituted health and safety protocols to protect their drivers and consumers. There are minimum health standards such as the use of face masks and shields, barriers, contactless payments, and regular disinfection of vehicles and equipment, to name a few.

Partner drivers have had to put additional investments into these measures to ensure a safe and sustainable service. Adding these expenses on top of the normal operating costs of running a vehicle is an additional challenge to Grab drivers, most of whom are already struggling in these difficult financial times.

To ease the burden on these hardworking men and women, Hella has partnered with Grab to offer exclusive deals on products that will enhance their vehicle safety. One of the most well-known brands in automotive lighting and technology, Hella produces a wide range of horns, bulbs, wipers and dash cams that fit nearly every vehicle in the market today.

Starting this month until May 31, 2021, Grab drivers can get up to 30% discount on Hella parts at select retail stores and detailing workshops. This partnership is exclusive to Grab drivers, who will also receive special partnership freebies when they avail of the offer.

“Grab has been providing essential services to many Filipinos over the course of the varying quarantine classifications,” says Jason De Leon, Hella country manager for the Philippines. “With the immense pressure and demand placed on their partner drivers, Hella wants to thank them by providing them with exclusive access to quality, reliable and more affordable aftermarket parts. This will not only help them keep their vehicles in check, but also provide protection to their livelihood and source of income while they continue to serve the greater community.”

“As we help our economy and businesses to recover from the impacts of the pandemic, safe and reliable transport solutions and delivery services will remain an important factor for many of our kababayans,” counters Grab Philippines head of transport and shared services Ronald Roda. “We are excited to be working alongside Hella in providing our drivers and delivery riders with means to help maintain their vehicles so that they can serve our customers and businesses safely and more efficiently.”

Grab drivers can access the full list of participating retail stores and detailing workshops via the Hella website.
