Holy Week is that time of the year when people would usually head to faraway places to escape the crazy city life. Some enjoy lengthy vacations, while others use the opportunity to reconnect with their families in the province. But thanks to this pandemic, going out for leisure is not really advisable (or allowed for those inside the NCR+ bubble).

However, there are motorists who will still need to travel during these dangerous times. Toyota Motor Philippines realizes this and wants to help ensure that their journeys are safe. So, to help its customers around the country, the automaker is once again holding its “Motorist Assistance Program.”

Toyota dealerships and service centers nationwide will conduct a 20-point safety inspection on your vehicle to ensure that it is in good condition before you make that trip. Should you avail of servicing afterward, you will also get a free Caltex Saveplus Card so you can enjoy discounts each time you fill up. This offer is up for grabs until April 10. Do note that dealer operations are subject to LGU restrictions so it is best to call ahead in order to check if your favorite one is open.

In addition, selected dealers will be offering free emergency repair assistance on April 1-4. Labor fees will be waived, and all vehicle makes and models are covered. There is also a 10% discount on Toyota genuine parts and fluids. See the list of participating outlets below:

NORTH LUZON

  • Toyota Baguio
  • Toyota La Union

SOUTH LUZON

  • Toyota Albay
  • Toyota Calapan

VISAYAS

  • Toyota Mabolo
  • Toyota Lapu-Lapu Cebu

MINDANAO

  • Toyota Davao City

While it’s good to know that Toyota has your back in case you need to drive, we strongly advise that you stay home. COVID-19 cases are on the rise at an alarming rate, and not going out is a little sacrifice that we can all do to prevent the virus from spreading further and give our overwhelmed medical frontliners some breathing room.
