Lamborghini has just announced that Romain Grosjean will join its Squadra Corse team as an official factory driver starting in 2023. The Swiss-French driver is known for his time in Formula 1 where he raced for such teams as Renault, Lotus, and Haas, before moving to IndyCar.

He will be making his Lamborghini debut racing a Huracán GT3 Evo2, run by Swiss team Iron Lynx, at the 24 Hours of Daytona before joining more endurance events.

He will also serve as a test driver for Lamborghini’s Le Mans Daytona Hybrid car, which will be competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTeach SportsCar Championship in 2024.

With Grosjean’s involvement in LMDh, would you like to see former F1 drivers join in eventually?
