MG Motor Philippines is off to a strong start this year. The brand is happy to report that it sold 716 units in January. This is 181 more than MG vehicles sold in December 2025, and it marks a 34% increase compared with the same month last year.

Thanks to this result, MG currently ranks eighth in overall industry sales according to the latest data of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI)—ninth if non-CAMPI member BYD is included.

The chief drivers behind this success are the 5 and the ZS, as well as the recently launched TRQ L pickup and the HS Hybrid+.
