Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) has just announced that it will be partnering with Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati for its scholarship program “Hyundai Accelerate.”
A total of 40 individuals will be undergoing technical education to help prepare them for work in the automotive industry, with 15 of them nominated by the Department of Education Taguig City and Pateros (DepED TAPAT); 15 by the Pasig City LGU; and 15 by the Quezon City LGU.
For eight months, they will be having theoretical and practical lessons, along with four months of on-the-job training at their closest Hyundai service center. And if they perform well enough, they might get the opportunity to work at one of HMPH’s dealers.
“At Hyundai Motor, we have a strong commitment to give back to society,” said HMPH president Lee Dong Wook. “This is rooted in our brand vision of ‘Progress for Humanity,’ wherein we believe that mobility is more than going from one place to another—rather, connecting people with quality time and enabling them to get more out of life.”
