When the next-generation Ford Ranger was released in the Philippines last year, we knew that it would break the market once again. The T6.2 Ranger, just like its T6 predecessor, became a sales hit for the American company for several reasons.

First is its styling. The latest iteration evokes toughness that makes it even more desirable for truck buyers. The extensive range covers all bases. From variants that cater to fleet customers, to top-of-the-line versions that lifestyle customers love, the Ranger has them all.

It is also peppered with the best list of standard equipment across all grades, further pushing its desirability and making the decision-making process of prospective buyers simpler. It just makes no sense to look elsewhere when you have one that offers what customers want at a price they can afford.

That is why it’s not surprising that Ford Philippines has already broken the 15,000-unit sold milestone. Right now, 16,127 Rangers are being driven around our roads, servicing their respective owners. It’s a mind-blowing number for a model that has only been sold in the market for 13 months.

In the first nine months of 2023 alone, Ford has sold over 9,113 units, up by a whopping 22% over the same period last year. And to celebrate this milestone, the American carmaker is extending its “Truck Month” sales campaign until October 31.

This means those eyeing a Ranger can still get access to cash discounts, all-in low down payment, and low monthly payment schemes. The Filipinos’ love for the Ranger is truly understandable. And we believe that this love affair will go on for many more years to come.
