Ferrari is no stranger to e-sports as the Italian marque has hosted virtual tournaments using proper sim racing titles such as iRacing and Assetto Corsa Competizione. This time, a new platform is brewing for the more casual players collaborating with French mobile game developer Gameloft.

The Ferrari HP Esports Asphalt Series caters to the arcade racing crowd with Asphalt Legends Unite as its competition grounds. Unlike its more serious counterparts, this league will test players’ knowledge of the game’s mechanics while piloting Maranello’s finest including the 488 Challenge Evo, the 599XX Evoluzione, the SF90 XX Stradale, and the FXX-K.

Anyone with a copy of the game for iOS and Android phones, and PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch consoles can sign up. The qualifying round will take place on August 15, and the top two players will be flown to Ferrari Land in Barcelona, Spain, to win merchandise and cash prizes up to €20,000 (about P1,250,000).
