During this year’s Toyota Road Trek, the country’s leading carmaker actually presented two new vehicles for our market. One of them, as you know, was the Zenix. The second car, well, we were requested to keep it a secret until the proper time.

We guess now is the right time to break the embargo because Toyota Motor Philippines has just published the prices of the car—which, by the way, is the Yaris Cross.

The prices?

• 1.5S HEV – P1,598,000
• 1.5V CVT – P1,296,000
• 1.5G CVT – P1,199,000

You might also be interested in the paint jobs. The 1.5S HEV will be available in two-tone colors: White Pearl/Attitude Black Mica, Scarlet SE/Attitude Black Mica, and Dark Turquoise SE/Attitude Black Mica. The 1.5V CVT, meanwhile, will be offered in White Pearl, Dark Turquoise SE, Greenish Gun Metal, and Scarlet SE/Attitude Black Mica. Finally, the 1.5G CVT can be had in Attitude Black Mica, Greenish Gun Metal, and Scarlet SE.

The engine, as is apparent in the numerical cognomen, is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline mill. The hybrid version, obviously, has an electric motor working with the ICE. For more specs, please see below.
