If you missed last year’s MSCC Miata Spec Series, fret not as Mazda Philippines and the Manila Sports Car Club have announced the next season of the one-make sports car series for 2023—now with an expanded grid of 22 drivers across two different racetracks: Clark International Speedway and Batangas Racing Circuit.

While the cars are still pretty much the same as last year down to the 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine, the six-speed manual transmission, the GT Radial Champiro SX2 tires, and the Shell lubricants and V-Power fuels, the race series now has a new partner (and official timekeeper) in BRM Chronographes, a French watchmaker that specializes in making timepieces inspired by automotive tech and motorsports.

Also joining the grid are Red Diwa, Tonypet Albano, and Manny Eduque, who will challenge the likes of defending champion Allan Uy, Angie King, Tyson Sy, Windy Imperial, and Jamal Almario.

Interested? The first two races will take place at the Batangas Racing Circuit on April 15 and June 24, while the final two will be held at the Clark International Speedway on August 26 and October 28.
