Suzuki Jimny 5-Door is more dashing with Rhino Edition

Starting at P1,739,000

Is the Jimny 5-Door Rhino Edition attractive enough for you? PHOTO FROM SUZUKI

Readers know I’m a fan of the Suzuki Jimny. Of course, I’m talking about the short-wheelbase, three-door version. The vehicle is aesthetically perfect with its small dimensions.

However, when Suzuki gave the Jimny an additional pair of doors—hence a longer wheelbase—I wasn’t as sold. It was okay, but something was off. Do a random survey and many will give you the same lukewarm impression. Bottom line: The Jimny looks better with three doors.

But the Japanese car brand has an idea about how to make the five-door SUV more visually appealing. Meet the Jimny 5-Door Rhino Edition. Giving the vehicle a few accessories should make it more interesting.

Making the edition special are:

  • Front bumper under-garnish
  • Side under-garnish
  • Black mud flaps with Suzuki logo
  • Rhino spare tire cover
  • Rhino emblem sticker on rear doors
  • Rhino Edition body decals

The Jimny 5-Door Rhino Edition is available in two colors, with the following prices:

  • Chiffon Ivory Metallic + Bluish Black Pearl (Two-Tone) – P1,749,000
  • Arctic White Pearl (Monotone) – P1,739,000

Are these cosmetic add-ons enough to make the longer Jimny more tasteful in your eyes? Well, only you can answer that.
