Suzuki Jimny 3-Door Rhino is now available in limited numbers

Some aesthetic upgrades to keep it interesting

Suzuki’s plucky little Jimny SUV has always had plenty of appeal thanks to its rugged engineering, light weight, and compact dimensions that enable it to navigate sketchy trails with relative ease. Now that it’s somewhere in its midlife product cycle, it’s time for some off-the-shelf accessorizing to keep units moving off showroom floors.

The Jimny 3-Door Rhino Edition comes with a chrome front grille, a front bumper, side under-garnish, mud flaps, and “Rhino Edition” decals and badges. It’s available in three colors: White, Solid Jungle Green, and Solid Medium Gray.

The Jimny soldiers on with the K15B 1.5-liter gasoline engine rated at 101hp and 130Nm of torque. The four-speed automatic is standard to the Rhino Edition, but not for the five-speed manual variant. Keys to the Jimny’s off-road prowess are its All-Grip Pro part-time four-wheel drive system with its Low Range gearing, and its ladder-frame chassis. Short overhangs; steep approach, departure, and ramp break-over angles; and a rigid axle further enhance its off-road readiness.

The Jimny 3-Door Rhino Edition is priced at P1,331,000, and is now available at Suzuki Auto dealerships nationwide.
