As we’ve already told you, the seventh edition of the biennial Philippine International Motor Show will be held on October 24 to 28 at World Trade Center in Pasay City. Not to be confused with the annual Manila International Auto Show, PIMS is a major industry event organized by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, whose members are the biggest car brands in our market like Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Isuzu, Suzuki and, of course, Mitsubishi.

Now, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has fired the first PR salvo by sending us a teaser of its PIMS presence. According to the announcement, the Japanese automaker’s distributor will be displaying the electric e-Evolution concept car, which made its global debut at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.

MMPC says in the statement: “This concept car perfectly delivers Mitsubishi Motors’ new tagline ‘Drive Your Ambition’. This tagline defines our commitment to the values and aspirations of our drivers. Moreover, it describes the brand’s adventurous and progressive mindset in developing its vehicles.”

There is reason to believe that the e-Evolution isn’t the only crowd-drawer that Mitsubishi will be bringing to the party, because the press statement adds: “MMPC will be revealing its PIMS lineup in the coming days.”

We hope they will open the doors at the car show. PHOTOS FROM MITSUBISHI

Would you now care to guess which other showstoppers Mitsubishi might flaunt at the 7th PIMS?
