Mitsubishi Motors Philippines wants to cater to its customers who are looking for added flair in the vehicles that they choose. Proof of this is the Mirage G4 GLS Sport, which received “subtle yet thoughtful” exterior enhancements. This is the latest addition to the Mirage G4 lineup.

The current generation of the Mirage G4 unveiled in August last year saw it having the Dynamic Shield update. This time around, the GLS Sport sees improvements on its under-grille garnish, its front, rear and side air dams, and its rear lip spoiler. “We make a conscious effort to listen to our market and pair it with continuous product development,” answered Takeshi Hara, MMPC president and CEO, when asked what the automaker’s inspiration was behind the GLS Sport.

This iteration is equipped with the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine as its siblings, and along with the CVT, it still produces 76hp. It features keyless entry and an engine push-start system. And it also has a “welcome home” and “coming home” light that gets activated upon the click of the remote, which aids in illuminating the surrounding areas where your vehicle is located. A nifty thing to have if you find yourself in a sketchy spot.

If you think you might like to ride in your own GLS Sport, you have to act quickly for, as we have mentioned, this is a limited edition. Three hundred potential owners will have to pay P929,000 to get their hands on one. They can get it in three colors: titanium gray metallic, red metallic, and cool silver metallic. If they secure a unit before February, it will come with a free two-year PMS package with sanitation service.
