Right at the heart of Metro Manila is where you’ll find an iconic structure, which houses the country’s electric company on most days. Every Christmas season, however, Meralco opens its gates to the public for a spectacular visual treat.

The Liwanag Park has been the company’s tradition, bringing colorful Christmas memories for families to enjoy. The estate makes for a fun pit stop and respite to let December traffic subside, or a sanctuary for breathing in the Christmas season after hours. The best part is that the entrance is completely free.

Guests are encouraged to walk through a village of lights, with installations inspired by elements from a true Filipino Christmas. With sustainability in mind, spectators will notice the use of recycled materials such as copper wire, solar panel frames, and even electric meter casings.

Other highlights include a train built for kids of all ages, and a food park offering a generous variety of family favorites.
