Taking up bike-commuting in Metro Manila isn’t easy, and that’s why Mobile in MNL has collaborated with different cycling groups to organize “Bike Commuting for Newbies.” Through this workshop, beginners will be able to experience riding on public roads with safety in numbers.

There will be a 2:3 beginner-to-marshal ratio with each group having a lead, a sweeper, and also middle persons to help manage the traffic. Participants have three routes to choose from going between Bonifacio Global City and Makati, each with its own unique challenges:

  • Route 1: McKinley
  • Route 2: J.P. Rizal
  • Route 3: Kalayaan-EDSA

This will be held on April 1 (Saturday), from 3pm to 4:30pm. You can register through this link. Take note that slots are limited as the organizers want to ensure the safety of everyone.

NOTE: All slots have already been taken. If you weren’t able to register, follow Mobile in MNL on Facebook or Instagram for more updates in the future.
