FAW is a Chinese automaker that has produced and sold over 65 million vehicles over decades of operation. Its dedicated passenger subsidiary, FAWCAR, utilizes FAW’s expertise and innovation, applying the foundation to its two major brands: Bestune and Joyee.
You might have heard of Bestune, the mid- to high-end mainstream fuel-powered car brand, but have you seen its new-energy counterpart, Joyee?
Multifortune Motors Incorporated locally distributes Joyee, and has recently announced three models—the S04, the S08, and the N09—to suit different Filipino motoring needs. The lineup offers a fresh range of vehicles for almost any household size, making them ideal options for those transitioning to new-energy vehicles (NEVs) and for buyers who want cars tailored to local driving conditions.

The brand’s global debut model, the S04, is an all-electric urban SUV featuring a low drag coefficient of 0.248Cd for efficiency at higher speeds, a standard panoramic glass roof with heat insulation, and high-polymer/carbon nano-coated battery technology designed for tropical climates.
It has an energy consumption rating of 11.8kWh/100km, achieving up to 565km on a single charge. With a 2,700mm wheelbase, a high-strength steel body structure, and 2,000MPa ultra-high-strength door anti-collision beams, the S04 balances efficiency, safety, and cabin space.

For larger families, the S08 is a full-size hybrid SUV fitted with a 1.5-liter turbocharged dedicated hybrid engine. It delivers up to 210km of pure electric range and a total combined range of 1,555km, with a fuel consumption rating of 3.9L/100km in low-battery conditions.
Safety and structural highlights include a reinforced body structure, an IP68-rated waterproof battery system, and eco-friendly interior materials. This makes the unit a practical choice for daily family duties and weekend road trips.

Finally, the star of the launch is the N09. This B+ flagship coupe is available in both pure-electric and range-extended powertrain configurations. It features frameless power doors, a digital cockpit powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor, and a 23-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system.
Built on an 800V high-voltage architecture with 6C ultra-fast charging capability, the N09 accelerates from 0-100km/h in under 6.4 seconds. On the safety front, it features a nine-airbag protection system, combining dynamic styling with high-voltage efficiency.

This multi-model arrival reflects FAWCAR’s strategy to strengthen its Philippine market presence while advancing its global expansion, giving Filipino buyers more NEV options tailored for family mobility.
