San Miguel Corporation Infrastructure is glad to announce that it is ready for the influx of motorists this Holy Week along its expressways: STAR, SLEX, Skyway, NAIAX, and TPLEX.

Roadworks and construction activities are suspended until April 5, while traffic personnel are coordinating closely with LGUs. Emergency response teams have also been deployed to key areas for timely assistance.

The infrastructure company urges motorists to do their part by preparing beforehand:

  • Shift from cash to Autosweep to reduce queues at the toll
  • Top up your Autosweep account (sticker replacement is free for those with deteriorated tags)
  • Make sure your vehicle is roadworthy
  • Follow a safe following distance, and observe the appropriate speed limit

For ground-level expressways, the speed limit is 100km/h for Class 1 vehicles, and 80km/h for Classes 2 and 3. Meanwhile for elevated roads (such as Skyway and NAIAX), the speed limit is 80km/h, and this drops to 60km/h along curved sections.

The Autosweep app is available for download on App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android users, respectively.
