The Katipunan-One Ayala P2P service is back

A welcome return, with more trips coming soon

A little bit over a year ago, Delta NeoSolutions (DNS) cancelled its point-to-point (P2P) bus service from UP Town Center to One Ayala, with drop-offs at Miriam, Eastwood, Kalayaan Avenue, and (at one point) Circuit Makati. This announcement came as a surprise, as it reliably served employees coming from Quezon City as well as students and faculty at the academic institutions along Katipunan Avenue. The company cited financial woes, being a missionary route that its other business units sustained.

DNS has since quietly resumed partial service, with more and more trips being added as it regains its footing along with recovering ridership. As of press time, the schedule is as follows:

These times are still subject to change as trips get added, much like the scribbled-on schedule. PHOTO BY HANS BOSSHARD

This schedule is subject to change, however. A DNS dispatcher has informed us that they are currently running road tests to verify trip times, and more services may be added to the timetable very soon. A trip from Katipunan to One Ayala—and vice versa—costs P100, with departure times being fairly reliable based on our own experience.
