FYI: Private vehicles can now use all lanes at the EDSA-Ayala Southbound terminal

Except the bicycle lane, of course

We hope that they will get rid of the separating barrier to make it clearer to motorists. PHOTO FROM MMDA

If you frequent the intersection going to EDSA-Ayala Southbound, you know that it was a bit of a choke point with traffic being funneled into three lanes, as the other three have been used as a loading/unloading bay for buses.

With the recent opening of the One Ayala Grand Terminal along EDSA, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has announced that private vehicles are now allowed to utilize all the lanes (except the bike lane), including those that were previously utilized for the buses. So, the next time you decide to turn into those lanes, know that the traffic enforcers will no longer apprehend you unless you violate a traffic law.
