The Lexus IS was the best-selling luxury compact car of 2022 in PH

Luxury sports sedans aren’t dead yet

Take a look at the roads today, which are full of crossovers and big SUVs. Sedans are getting rarer even at the higher end of the market, but that did not stop the Lexus IS from being the best-selling luxury compact passenger car in the Philippines last year, based on the year-end sales report of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI).

It makes sense for those that have the means to spring for a rear-wheel-drive sports sedan such as this, which was the first model of the range to benefit from the Lexus Driving Signature, which was honed at the Shimoyama Technical Center.

So, even if you go for the frugal, electrified IS300h that is available either in the Executive (P3.038 million) or Premier (P3.398 million) trims, or the naturally aspirated V6-powered IS350 F Sport (P4.178 million) which was updated last year with the addition of a Torsen Limited Slip Differential and new forged 19-inch wheels from BBS, you are guaranteed to have an exciting and luxurious driving experience. And the Lexus Safety Suite+ 2.0 driver assistance suite should keep everyone safe on every journey.

Maybe get one for this year’s sales tally?
