If you’re in the market for the Ioniq 5, Hyundai Makati has just opened and it’s the Korean automaker’s first authorized EV dealer in the country.
Located on Chino Roces Avenue Extension, it has a 280sq-m showroom, capable of accommodating five display vehicles, and a 1,167sq-m service area with six work bays.
There are also two service bays dedicated for electric vehicles, as well as a 22kW AC charger and a 50kW DC charger, the latter capable of charging from 20% to 80% as fast as 30 minutes.
If Makati is too far for the potential Ioniq 5 owners among you, the other Hyundai stores in Alabang, Cebu North, Pampanga, and Pasig will also become authorized EV dealers this year.
The EV industry appears to be gaining momentum with cars like the Ioniq 5 on the horizon, charging stations in different malls, and now dedicated service centers. Do these make you excited for an electric future?
