Changan Philippines is slowly growing its footing in the local market and preparing to take hold of regions in Luzon, starting with its flagship C5 Pasig branch. Inchcape Philippines recently announced that six more dealerships will open in Visayas and Mindanao in collaboration with Global Star Motors Corporation.

GSMC president Edward Vincent Onglatco expresses his delight: “We see a lot of potential in the Changan brand, and we are confident that, with the partnership with Inchcape, we are able to bring quality vehicles and services to the Visayas and Mindanao regions.”

Inchcape managing director Alex Hamlett looks forward to the collaboration: “Global Star Motors Corporation has been a trusted dealer in Cebu and the rest of Visayas. We trust that they will be as driven to challenge and deliver service excellence to Changan owners in those regions.”

The planned VisMin dealerships will be established in Cebu, Dumaguete, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao.
