This year’s Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup is about to come to a close with the final leg on November 9 at Clark International Speedway.

The big day starts with the Sprint Races for the different classes. A mix of influencers, media, and sim racers will be present in the Novice Class with the likes of Reph Bangsil, Lexi Mendiola, Jamil Lacuna, Jose Altoveros, Pablo Salapantan, John Rey San Diego, and Russel Reyes. Toyota Motor Philippines president Masando Hashimoto will be joining them, too.

The Sporting Class will feature a new entrant, Will Lucas, who was selected through a tryout. Meanwhile, in the Super Sporting Class, Iñigo Anton (Toyota Balintawak-Obengers Racing Team), Russel Cabrera (Team Toyota Cebu), and Red Diwa (Toyota Isabela-JBT Racing) lead the standings.

Following the sprint races is the track day for owners of the GR Supra, the GR Yaris, and the GR86. There will also be a drifting exhibition by Dane Cruz and Hans Jimenez using the GR86. After this is the 1.5-hour Endurance Race for all classes. Fans can also expect sim racing rigs and product booths on-site.

“It’s the last race weekend of the season, so we are working to make it the most thrilling one yet,” said TMP vice president for marketing services Elvin Luciano. “We have a lot of activities lined up, both on the track and in the activity area, so we hope fans can come and experience the ‘Fun to Drive’ spirit with us.”

Admission is free, and visitors can avail of a free shuttle service from SM Clark (every hour from 8am to 5pm). If you can’t make it to the track, the event will be livestreamed on Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines’ Facebook page starting at 9am on race day.
