Keen Formula 1 fans will have noticed McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, and Aston Martin Lego cars on the shelves at Lego stores as well as toy shops for a good number of months now.
Following the partnership announcement last September, F1 and Lego have unveiled the new products at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which marks the start of the collaboration.
You can soon build your favorite team’s cars as all 10 teams are featured. These offerings will be launched early next year.
The range includes Lego Collectibles sets, Lego Speed Champions, Lego City, and Lego Duplo, bringing the fun of building F1 cars to fans of all ages.
The Collectibles series gives fans the joy of building and displaying cars, and also features Formula 1 and F1 Academy branded show cars.
Speed Champions come with the Lego Minifigure and the various Pirelli slick tire compounds along with this year’s team liveries.
The Lego City F1 range, meanwhile, comprises six different sets and comes with other goodies such as transport trucks and team garages, allowing young fans to replicate the F1 paddock.
Lastly, the Duplo F1 race cars and drivers set will fuel kids’ enthusiasm for racing. It includes 10 buildable cars, three Duplo brick drivers, the starting grid, and a podium.
With the collaboration, Lego will also bring “Build the Thrill” activities at Grands Prix as well as off track.
