You might have heard that BAIC is returning to the Philippine market under United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI). While its public launch will take place during this year’s Manila International Auto Show, the Chinese state-owned brand has officially settled down on Manila soil to preview its SUV and crossover offerings.

UAAGI showcased its models at Palacio de Memoria in Parañaque City featuring brand head and general manager Christopher David Yu, managing director Froilan Dytianquin, and chief marketing executive Lyn Buena.
“We are confident that BAIC vehicles, with their cutting-edge technology and exceptional quality, will resonate deeply with Filipino drivers,” Dyqtianquin stated. “We are excited to introduce BAIC Philippines and its full range of robust, modern, and rugged SUV options today, in anticipation of their debut next month at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show.”
