Last year, Hyundai Motor Philippines unveiled the hotly anticipated N brand starting with the Elantra N. While driving enthusiasts sang to the heavens, others wondered whether its normal cousins would join its utility-driven lineup.
Now at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show, HMPH heard the demand for the compact sedan and brought the regular Elantra back to the Philippine market. Two variants were showcased at its pavilion wowing the eco-minded and light performance crowds.

The Elantra N-Line is for thrill-seekers who think the N might be too wild for their lifestyle. The pure 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters propels to 201hp and 265Nm—a sweet spot for most enthusiasts.
On the other hand, the Elantra Hybrid is available in two flavors: GLS and Premium. Fitted with a six-speed wet DCT, it’s powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a 1.3kWh battery pack that produces a combined 139hp and 147Nm.

Additionally, the base Standard and GL variants weren’t in the limelight, and were reserved for those who inquired. Both ICE variants have a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine with a standard six-speed automatic transmission.
The Hybrid Premium and N-Line have Hyundai SmartSense with Forward Collision Avoidance Assist and Lane Following/Keeping Assist as standard. Regardless, every Elantra owner can enjoy the eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Elantra is uniquely positioned as the only sedan in the HMPH lineup.
- Standard – P1,065,000
- GL – P1,140,000
- Hybrid GLS – P1,480,000
- Hybrid Premium – P1,680,000
- N-Line – P1,795,000
Until May 31, new buyers are treated with free preventive maintenance service for two years, and fuel vouchers worth P10,000. Are you ready to step back into the four-door lifestyle?
