Launched at the start of this year, the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross is the Japanese automaker’s attempt at dressing up its seven-seater MPV as an SUV with a more rugged exterior. Now, the brand takes it up a notch with the Outdoor Edition.
The Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition features an extended tailgate spoiler, a rear bumper protector, a tailgate garnish, and mud guards. Under the hood, you’ll find the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine as the ordinary variant, producing 104hp and mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.
Exclusive to the Outdoor Edition is the Green Bronze Metallic colorway, and this is complemented by camping gear courtesy of Ogawa (no, not the massage-chair brand) such as a tarp tent, two foldable chairs, and an adjustable mesh table.
If you’re looking for a car for weekend getaways with the family, the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross Outdoor Edition is available for P1,363,000.
